I don't know why, but it is difficult to write this today. I am very excited about the direction Thursday Eve is taking. I have tried to write this in a variety of ways, but the truth is I can feel when a class is really pulling together. That is happening in Instinct.
On a personal note, Thursday Evening was the class I started my teaching career with and in many ways it was my baby in NYC. I, of course love all of my students but Thursday Eve for me has been something special.
I have had the pleasure of teaching many extraordinary groups of people. It takes a while for the momentum to build, but it becomes some of the best times in your life as an actor when a group of very talented actors come together and decide to really go for it. You can't force it. Every actor contributes in his or her way.
I know in this world of "let's move it to the next level", we can sometimes loose sight of the inspiring work being done by our peers. The funny thing is if you can feed on each other's talent you will grow so much more quickly in the direction of your dreams
That time has arrived in Thursday Eve. Here is what I ask. Show up every week. Really bring your energy and focus to class.
Strap yourselves in people. It's about to get really good!
