Making the Scene

Today the work as a whole was very exciting. It was not only impressive but very entertaining as well. One factor that sustained that level of excitement for me was how intently everyone was listening. By listening I mean more than just hearing what words were being spoken. Listening in the sense of being fully involved in everything that was happening with the other person and how that in turn made you feel and how that in turn made you react and so on. The spoken words are the final expression of the emotional experience you are living through in any given moment. So much happens between the lines. So much is being expressed and exchanged. Everyone had a stake in what was going on and everything mattered. There's better than when things matter.
